Biography

Mr. Robert Higgins is a Co-Founder and serves as a Partner at Causeway Media Partners. He also serves as Co-Chairman and Advisor at Waterline Ventures. He served as a Board Member at You. i TV and Kyruus. He served as a Co-Founding Partner at Highland Capital Partners. He has over 30 years of venture and private equity investment experience. From 1988 to 2013, he was General Partner and Co-Founder of Highland Capital Partners, an investment firm that has raised over $3 billion of capital across nine funds. During his tenure, Bob worked with Wyc Grousbeck and frequently co-invested with Mark Wan. Bob is a former Assistant to both the U.S. Secretary of Commerce and the head of the international division of the U.S. Treasury. Bob is a graduate of Harvard University and earned an MBA from Harvard Business School, where he is a part-time faculty member. He also serves as a Board Member at Claritas Genomics. Mr. Higgins served as the Board Chairman of Advanced Practice Strategies. He is a former director of the National Venture Capital Association and President of the New England Venture Capital Association. He has been a faculty member at the Harvard Business School since 2001 and teaches at the Kennedy School of Government. He also was the Chief Executive of the Clark Foundation and the Burden Foundation. Additionally, Bob is a Member of the Council on Foreign Relations, a member of the Massachusetts General Hospital Research Advisory Council, and a member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences.
