Biography

Mr. Fergal Mullen serves as Board Member at 9fin. He is also a Co-Founder and serves as Partner of Highland Europe. He served as Board Member at Unibuddy. He serves as Board Member at Advanced Manufacturing Control Systems, Podimo, Spartoo and Nexthink. He focuses on e-commerce, software and business services companies with a particular emphasis on emerging growth opportunities in Europe. He represents Highland Capital Europe on the board of AMCS Group, GetYourGuide.com. Until the formation of Highland Capital Europe, he was a General Partner with Highland Capital Partners. He launched the firm's Europe investment initiative and represents Highland Capital Partners on the boards of GlassesDirect, PhotoBox, Privalia,and Wooga. He is a former director of Autoquake, Coremetrics (acquired by IBM), Eleven Technology (acquired by Trimble), M7 (acquired by BEA) and VistaPrint (IPO: NASDAQ). Before joining Highland, he was a founding partner of RSA Ventures, the corporate venture fund of RSA Security, Inc., where he led that firm's European and Boston investments. Before RSA Ventures, was a founder and Senior Vice President of Cambridge Technology Partners (NASDAQ: CATP) and a member of the Global Executive Committee of the firm. He attended Harvard Business School, where he earned his M.B.A. He also holds a B.S., Electrical Engineering, and a B.A., Business Economics from Brown University. He also served as the Non-Executive Director at PhotoBox. He is an Angel Investor.
