Michael McGovern General Information

Biography

Mr. Michael McGovern is a Co-Founder and serves as a Partner at Wincove Private Holdings. He also served as a Board Member at Hygrade Components and Globalization Partners. He has been investing in and working with management teams to grow, small- and medium-sized for nearly 20 years. Before forming Wincove, he was a Partner at Hampshire Equity Partners, a NY-based private equity firm with approximately $1 billion of capital under management, where he sourced, led, and successfully exited many middle-market investments. He has also served as a principal of McCarthy Capital. He began his career in the investment banking group of Alex Brown. He is currently a Director of Homecare Software Solutions (dba HHA eXchange) and previously served as a Director of GI Plastek, Connect-Air International, ROM Corp., Impact Products, Vornado Air, Altair Global Relocation, SAFE Boats International, Transcare Corporation and Connector Service Corp., among others. He received a B.S., summa cum laude, from Boston College.
