Biography

Mr. Hazem Ben-Gacem is the Founder & serves as Chief Executive Officer at BlueFive Capital. Mr. Ben-Gacem served as Co-Chief Executive Officer & Member of Executive, Operating and Risk Management Committees at Investcorp. He also serves as chairman of Investcorp Europe Acquisition I. He also served as Board Member at kgb and Eviivo. He serves as a Board Member at Fleetmatics Group, CSIdentity, GL Education, CEME, Georg Jensen, and OpSec Security Group. He has nearly 30 years of experience leading private equity investments across North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. Today, he chairs the investment committees of the firm's Private Equity activities in Europe, the Middle East, and Asia, as well as chairing the investment committee of the Asia Food Brands Fund. In addition, he oversees the firm's infrastructure investment business and its client and investor relationships globally. Before his co-CEO appointment, he led Investcorp's European private equity and Technology private equity teams, based out of London. During that period, he was directly involved in over 40 of Investcorp's private equity investments in Europe and North America. Before joining Investcorp in 1994, he was a member of Credit Suisse First Boston's mergers and acquisitions team in New York.
