Biography

Mr. Johannes Huth serves as a Senior Advisory Partner and Chairman of KKR Europe, Middle East and Africa at Kohlberg Kravis Roberts. He served as a Board Member at Coty. He served as a Board Member at SoftwareONE. He also serves as a Supervisory Board Member at Axel Springer. He serves as Non-Executive Director and Vice-Chairman and a member of the Board's Nominating & Compensation Committee at NXP Semiconductors. He joined KKR in 1999 and is a Member of KKR and an Individual Partner of Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co Partners. Mr. Huth is responsible for KKR's operations in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. He has participated in investments including Wincor Nixdorf, Zumtobel, Demag Holdings, MTU Aero Engines, DSD, Selenia, Kion Group, NXP Semiconductors, Pro7 Sat1, BMG, Wild and Württembergische Metallwarenfabrik AG (WMF). He formerly served as the Chair of Impetus-PEF. He is currently a member of the Supervisory Board of Kion. He served as Vice Chairman of the Supervisory Board of NXP BV and Chairman of the Supervisory Board of ProSieben Sat 1 Media AG. He is a member of the Advisory Board of Wild Flavors GmbH, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of WMF, and a member of the Board of Hertha KGaA. Before joining KKR, Mr. Huth was a member of Investcorp's Management Committee and was also responsible for the firm's operations in Europe. Previously, he was with Salomon Brothers, where he was a Vice President in the Mergers and Acquisitions departments in London and New York. Mr Huth holds a BSc with highest honours from the London School of Economics and an MBA from the University of Chicago. He is Chairman of the Trustees of the Private Equity Foundation, a Trustee of the Design Museum, the Staedel Museum in Frankfurt, and a governor of the London School of Economics. He is also an Angel Investor. He also serves as a Board Member & Member of the Remuneration and Nomination Committee at Coty.
