Biography

Mr. Steuart Botchford was a Co-Founder and served as Managing Partner at Ultima Capital Partners. He brings a broad set of experiences to the role that enable him to generate creative solutions and work with diverse teams, while still having developed the core skills necessary to be a successful investor and operator. Before founding UCP, Steuart was a Manager at Bain & Company, the global management consulting firm. In this role, he advised clients in the consumer packaged goods and consumer electronics industries on both strategic and operational issues. Additionally, as a member of Bain's Private Equity Group, he provided business diligence to top private equity firms and hedge fund clients, advising on more than $30B of deals and investments. Steuart earned an MBA and an MS at the University of Michigan. Before his graduate work, he was a teacher in rural Mississippi with Teach For America and subsequently a director of operations for the organization's training programs.
