Biography

Mr. George Addicott serves as Vice President at Sentient Energy. George Addicott joined Sentient Energy in December of 2015 as the Senior Director of Corporate Quality and was promoted to VP HR and Corporate Quality in 2016. Previously, as the General Manager of Strategic Planning and Quality for Florida Power & Light Company's Power Generation Division, George developed and facilitated the execution of planning and quality improvement activities that resulted in more than 10 consecutive years of best-in-class performance. Through his role as senior examiner for the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award and State of Florida Sterling Quality Award processes, he provided quality management reviews and recommendations for several fortune 500 companies. In addition, George served as a senior examiner for the Malcolm Balridge National Quality Award and State of Florida Sterling Quality Award processes, George has served in many engineering leadership positions as well as line management and is a Six Sigma Master Black Belt. George holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Youngstown State University and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Akron State University.
