Biography

Mr. Brian Smith serves as Managing Partner at Grayhawk Capital. He serves as Board Member at CloudApp. He also served as Board Member at Scifiniti and Ryver. He joined Grayhawk Capital in 2011 with previous venture capital experience as the Managing Director of Dominion Ventures, and as an Entrepreneurial Fellow at CID Equity Partners. He began his business career as an Emerging Business Services Consultant at Deloitte, Haskins, & Sells. During his career, Mr. Smith has invested in more than 25 early stage technology startups. A sample of prior successful investments includes: BroadHop (acquired by Cisco), Coinstar (NASDAQ: CSTR), Communispace (acquired by Omnicom), Efficient Networks (NASDAQ: EFNT), P-Com (NASDAQ: PCOM), PowerQuest (acquired by Symantec), Quality Care Solutions (acquired by Trizetto), and Ribbit (acquired by BT Group). Mr. Smith holds a MBA from Indiana University's Kelley School of Business and a BS degree in Accounting from Brigham Young University. Also, he serves as a Board member at Response Analytics.
