Biography

Mr. Mikhail Fedotov served as Director of the Managing General Partner & Member of the Investment Committee at RBF Ventures.He served as Financial Advisor to the General Director & Management Board Member at Russian Venture Company. He graduated from the Higher School of Economics with a degree in Financial Management and the Russian State Humanitarian University with a degree in Social Philosophy. He holds a Global Master in Finance IE Business School (Madrid). He is a specialist in the field of corporate finance and investment activities with 25 years of experience. He has relevant expertise in the development and implementation of strategies aimed at improving the quality of corporate management and growth of business capitalization. From 1999 to 2005, he worked in various commercial organizations both in Russia and abroad as head in the financial-economic and investment sectors. From 2005 to 2008, he was Financial Director at Renova Stroy Group, where the corporate and financial structure of the company was created and the financial and economic service was formed under his leadership. Since 2009, he worked in the investment field as Financial Director of the private equity fund INVEST AG, where he was responsible for the financial management of the Fund, financial control and analysis of functions in the managed assets. In 2011, He organized from scratch a private equity fund called New Investment, which was engaged in the formation of the corporate and organizational structure of the Fund, the search and evaluation of projects, and the structuring of transactions. From 2012 until the time when He joined RVC, he served as Financial Director at the investment and development company APSIS Globe. His responsibilities included the development of corporate and financial structure, the creation of financial and economic services, planning and budgeting, fundraising, as well as search and analysis of investment projects for the company.
