Biography

Ms. Amanda Robson serves as a General Partner at Modern Technical Fund. She serves as a Board Member at NextGen Partners. She serves as a Board Member at mobile.dev. She served as a Board Partner at Cowboy Ventures. She has spent most of her career to date as an investor and loves working closely with founders who are experts in their space. Before joining Cowboy, she spent 3 years as a venture investor at Norwest Venture Partners. There she focused on investments in applied AI, data, and infrastructure software and had the privilege of working with the talented founders and teams at companies including 6 River Systems (acquired by Shopify), Fossa, Phiar, World View, Bluecore, Dremio, Paperflip, Leanplum, and Legion. Before Norwest, she spent time as an investment banker on the technology team at William Blair & Co. She served as a Founding Advisor at Women in XR. She earned a BA in Business Administration from the University of Western Ontario. Her investments include Drata, Dremio, FinTe, Fossa, Arcol, Uplimit, Mobile.dev, Elementary, AISERA, 6 River Systems (acq by Shopify), effx (acquired by Figma), and Phiar (acquired by Google).
