Howard Man General Information
Biography
Mr. Howard Man served as Managing Director, Sector Executive and the Head of Asia Ex-Japan at Point72 Asset Management. He is responsible for hiring, supporting, and supervising the performance and professional development of portfolio management teams across Asia Ex-Japan. Mr. Man first joined the Firm in 2008 as a Portfolio Manager, working in the Hong Kong office. In addition to his current role as the Head of Asia Ex-Japan, he also drives the Firm's capital markets investments across the Asia Pacific region. He began his career as a management consultant with McKinsey & Company in its Greater China offices. Mr. Man also served as the Head of Trading for Merrill Lynch in its Asian Cash Equities business for several years. Mr. Man graduated with his BS from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and earned an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management. He serves on the fundraising committee of the Children's Medical Foundation, a non-profit focused on reducing neonatal mortality in rural China.
