Biography

Dr. Michael Ramb serves as a Partner at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer. Michael advises on regulatory risks, crises, and compliance. He specializes in advising on product legislation, primarily in the food, pharmaceuticals, medical products, and chemicals sectors. As well as keeping clients up to speed on the latest regulatory requirements for the production, labeling, and distribution of products, he advises on cross-border product recalls, regulatory supervision, and liability cases. Michael also advises healthcare clients on a broad spectrum of regulatory issues, such as compliance requirements. He has substantial experience in compliance and anti-bribery and advises companies on cross-border investigations and the implementation of compliance management systems. Michael is also an experienced negotiator and legal adviser in international M&A transactions. He has advised both companies and investors on regulatory and environmental transaction risks, primarily in healthcare, chemicals, aviation, and general industries.
