François-Bernard Poulin General Information
Biography
Mr. François-Bernard Poulin served as Partner & Member of Investment Committee at GPI Capital. Previously, he joined BTG Pactual in 2011 and became an Associate Partner in 2014, the same year he became a Portfolio Manager of the BTG Pactual Global Partnership Investing fund. Prior to joining BTG Pactual, François worked at Elkstone Capital and at Balderton Capital, two European-based private equity firms from 2008 to 2011. François started his career at Fasken Martineau, a Canadian law firm where he was a Corporate Associate Attorney from 2000 to 2005, based in Montreal, and subsequently in London. In 2006, he joined the London office of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher and Flom LLP as a Corporate Senior Associate Solicitor. François' expertise includes investment management, mergers and acquisitions, capital markets and capital raising. François holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from Laval University in Canada and a Master of Laws degree from the London School of Economics in England.
