Biography

Dr. Christopher Giles served as Director at Geothermal Resources. He is an experienced geologist having supervised exploration programmes for a variety of organizations all over the world. He is Executive Technical Director of Havilah Resources NL, in which capacity he has been jointly responsible for the definition of the Kalkaroo and Mutooroo copper deposits in South Australia. During his career he has worked on exploration teams that have been directly responsible for the discovery of six operating gold mines. Prior to jointly founding Havilah, he was a joint founder and investor in East African Gold Mines Limited, responsible for ground selection and supervising initial exploration programmes that resulted in the discovery of two substantial gold deposits in the Mara region of Tanzania, which are currently in production.
