Biography

Mr. Rafael Katz Founded and served as Managing Partner at Scorpion Venture Capital. His investment focus is primarily in the Animation and Gaming industry. He previously operated as Project Incorporation Manager of Cinema Trusts Investment in Movies, LLP, an Israeli Public Financial LLP (TASE), based in Hertzaliya which invests in projects linked to entertainment & media. He previously served as delegate producer in various international co-productions such as "Eyes Wide Open" (Cannes 2009), "Dark Night" (Venice, Special Mention 2005), and "Paradise Cruise". Rafael earned his BA in Political Science, Cinema and TV, and Master's Degree in Cinema & TV (MFA) from Tel Aviv University and is a graduate of the EU Media program, AFIC (Audio Visual Finance and Commercial) from the Sorbonne University in Paris.
