Biography

Mr. Hans Tung is a Managing Partner at Notable Capital and focuses on early-stage investments in the global digital economy. Mr.Hans Tung serves as a Board Member at Wish US Holdings. Additionally, Hans has successfully exited eight companies each with outcomes exceeding $10 billion. He has been a dedicated investor in the global fintech sector, with over 14 investments, including Affirm (AFRM), Aven, Block (SQ), Divvy Homes, Modak, Novo, and Slope in the U.S.; ADDI, Clara, Frubana, IDwall, and Stori in Latin America; and Rupeek and Turtlemint in India. He and his team launched FintechInnovation 50, an annual list recognizing the evolution and rising stars in the fintech ecosystem. Recognized globally as a top venture capitalist, he has been honored on the Forbes Midas list for 12 consecutive years, consistently ranking in the top 10 for five of those years. He is also celebrated among the Top 100 Asian Americans by Gold House. Originally from Taiwan, Hans grew up in Los Angeles and earned a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Stanford University. His career began on Wall Street, followed by co-founding two Silicon Valley-affiliated startups. After spending eight years investing in Asia, he returned to Silicon Valley in 2013 to join Notable Capital, where he focuses on supporting globally-minded founders.
