Biography

Dr. Zou Ruiyang is a Co-Founder and serves as Chief Technology Officer & Board Member at MiRXES. He also co-founded and served as Board Member and Chief Technology Officer at Ark. He is primarily responsible for MiRXES' technology and diagnostic test development. He also oversees MiRXES' China operation. Prior to joining MiRXES, he was the head of bioinformatics at the MicroRNA Signature Identification Center under A*STAR. He co-authored more than ten publications and has eight patents and applications. He is one of the three inventors of MiRXES' core miRNA technology and know-hows. He has a double degree in science and engineering (B.S. in chemistry and B.E. in chemical engineering). He received his Ph.D. in Chemical and Pharmaceutical Engineering from the Singapore-MIT Alliance, National University of Singapore. In addition to miRNA, he has developed multiple technologies in the field of metabolic engineering and synthetic biology.
