Biography

Mr. Mark Nelson serves as Partner & Chief Financial Officer at RLG Capital. He also serves as Board Member at eLearning Brothers. He serves as Chairman of the Board at Powder Watts. Before joining RLG Capital, he was Managing Director at Sentry Financial where he co-led Sentry's Sustainable Investments practice. Before joining Sentry, he was the Founding Partner of Cornerstone Capital Group, a private equity fund focused on investing in growth-stage technology companies and mid-market operating company buyouts. he also served as Chief Financial Officer for one of Cornerstone's portfolio companies. Previously, he worked in the Investment Banking Industry where he provided financial advisory, capital placement, and M&A advisory services to mid-market companies. He began his career with American Express and PepsiCo, Inc., where he managed the launch of several new products and businesses and provided regular support and advisory services for American Express and PepsiCo's CEOs and CFOs on strategic planning, business development, mergers, and acquisitions. He is a graduate, cum laude, from the University of Utah with a degree in Finance, where he was the Student Body President. He also obtained a Master of Business Administration degree from the Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration.
