Biography

Mr. John Peryam is a Co-Founder & serves as a Managing Partner at Fulcrum Global Capital. He is a Board Member of Sabanto. He also serves as a Board Member of Nanoguard Technologies. He serves as Board Member at Resilient Biotics. He has over twelve years of experience in structuring, managing, and facilitating private market investments and other complex commercial transactions. With a background in both the traditional corporate environment and the private practice of law, he brings deep experience in corporate capital transactions and knowledge of the funding landscape for pre-revenue, early-stage companies. Most recently, he served as General Counsel to the Kansas Bioscience Authority (KBA) where he oversaw all legal aspects of the organization, including the negotiation, structuring, and ultimate documentation of the KBA's investment portfolio transactions. His position at the KBA included roles on the organization's executive management and investment teams, as well as responsibilities relating to the KBA's limited partner positions in venture funds and direct equity positions in early-stage animal health, agriculture, and human health companies and for the KBA's real estate holdings. Before joining the KBA, he spent a decade as an attorney in private practice, most recently as a shareholder of Seigfreid Bingham, P.C. During this time, he was deeply engaged in the entrepreneurial and startup ecosystem, working extensively with clients focused on capital formation needs, as well as other complex commercial transactions. He holds a Juris Doctorate from the University of Kansas (Order of the Coif), a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and English from DePauw University, and has completed the Venture Capital Executive Program at the University of California, Berkeley. He is very active in the civic sector and currently serves as an Elder of his church. He is a member of both the Kansas and Missouri bar.
