Biography

Mr. Ankit Agarwal serves as Managing Partner at Alteria Capital. he has been part of the Venture Lending space since the early days of the Venture ecosystem in India. He carries over 11 years of experience in managing and leading Venture Debt investments including leading equity investments into portfolio companies. Prior to joining Alteria Capital as a Partner, he was a Director at InnoVen Capital India (formerly SVB India Finance) where he led 100+ venture debt investments in companies like Firstcry, Eruditus, Boat, Licious, Dailyhunt, Medgenome, and Ofbusiness amongst others. He also helped set up and support InnoVen's lending business in South East Asia in its early days. Prior to Innoven, he worked at the Credit Risk Management team at Yes Bank in Mumbai where he was responsible for supporting credit sanctions for entire East and South India. He is a "Mentor of Change", at Atal Innovation Mission (Niti Aayog) and has been mentoring budding entrepreneurs through initiatives like #Payitforward and HostelFund. He has been invited to participate in various expert panels and address gatherings conducted by Hindustan Times, Moneycontrol, Yourstory, and Google among others. He has a Bachelor's in Commerce from St.Xaviers College, Kolkata, and holds a Management Degree from IMT Ghaziabad. He is also a Qualified Chartered Accountant and Company Secretary.
