Biography

Mr. Brendan Mathews serves as Managing Partner at Motley Fool Ventures. He serves as Board Member at Roundtrip. Prior to joining Motley Fool Ventures, He was a senior analyst in Motley Fool's U.S. investing team. For six years, He found and followed great companies for David and Tom Gardner as a researcher and writer for Stock Advisor, Motley Fool One, and Supernova. His duties included sourcing market-beating stock ideas, following company performance, and clearly communicating with members. He is part of the Motley Fool's 401K committee, where he evaluates mutual funds for fellow employees. Prior to joining The Fool, He worked in Accenture's strategy consulting practice and at a large California hedge fund. He graduated with distinction from the University of Virginia (B.A. in Economics), and he earned an M.B.A. from UC-Berkeley.
