Biography

Mr. Ned Mahic served as Managing Director at Oceanelle Investments. Thirteen years ago, he decided to follow his passion and start a career as a serial entrepreneur. He started in real estate and covered lending, construction and development as well as holding rental properties. As the Great Recession of 2008 hit Ned held on to the properties owned and added operating businesses. Ned was particularly successful partnering with a plumbing operator and growing their business. After selling the company, Ned cofounded Oceanelle with Shanelle Schmidt. For one of the early ventures, they partnered with a best-in-class operator in multifamily housing for students and young professionals and expanded the business from $1.4 million to $120 million under development in less than three years
