Biography

Ms. Barbara Stockford serves as Controller at Gateway Subaru. She also served as Controller at Annapolis Subaru. Her automotive career began in 1984 when she was hired as a file clerk at an auto dealership in her hometown of Flint, Michigan. From her entry level job in Flint through her eventual relocation to Maryland, Barb has accumulated a vast amount of knowledge about dealership operations through the variety of roles she has filled, such as switchboard operator, accounts payable clerk, accounts receivable clerk, warranty clerk and office manager. Since joining the Annapolis Cars organization in 2002 Barb has navigated the Accounting Department through the expansion of the company from one location supporting 2 franchises to the development and operation of 5 separate locations supporting 4 franchises and a preowned sales center.
