Biography

Mr. Scott Terhaar serves as Partner at Bold Ventures. Mr. Terhaar serves as Head of Finance at Launch NY. He served as Chief Financial Officer at ValueCentric. He brings over 20 years of finance experience in a variety of industries to ValueCentric, with a heavy emphasis on distribution and logistics companies. As the leader of the US Finance function, he played a critical role in growing the company through M&A activity, including over 30 transactions. His previous experience includes serving as an Audit Manager at PriceWaterhouse, senior roles at Perry's Ice Cream Company, Superior Group, and Azerty, a division of United Stationers. Through each of his experiences, he provided key leadership in the areas of strategic and organizational development. He received his MBA from the University at Buffalo and has an undergraduate degree in Accounting from Binghamton University. A Certified Public Accountant, he is a member of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
