Biography

Mr. John Betterman is a Co-Founder and serves as President at Betterman Digital Wealth. John has become skilled at understanding investors' needs and wants while matching those with the appropriate portfolio and investment strategy. His practice focuses on advising investors across different asset classes including stocks, bonds, and alternative investments with a primary focus on deep value investing (except for our very aggressive individual stock strategy). In 2006, Mr. Betterman became a Registered Investment Advisor after 12 years at Merrill Lynch where he managed approximately $500mm. He previously spent 8 years with Smith Barney. He is a graduate of the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management ('93) and the University of Illinois ('84).
