Biography

Mr. Peter Stuart serves as Operating Partner at SCF Partners. He serves as Board Member at Score Group. He served as Chief Executive Officer at Triton Group Holdings. After achieving a B.Sc. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh, Scotland in 1979, he began his 27-year oilfield career as an Engineering Specialist with Halliburton where he remained for 5 years prior to spending two years with Sparrows Offshore as a Project Engineer. In 1985 he joined Drexel Equipment and commenced a 21-year career with them, during which time Drexel underwent several mergers and acquisitions, including Tuboscope and Varco, before becoming part of National Oilwell Varco in 2004. He has managed operations throughout the Eastern Hemisphere and, in particular, in the North Sea, Middle East, Africa and the Far East. He was Group Vice-President for the company's Tuboscope and Brandt Eastern Hemisphere operations. He is an accomplished fund-raiser and is actively involved in his community having served as Secretary and Chairman of Montrose Round Table, past President and current Secretary of Montrose Burns Club, and he is also a Director of Montrose Port Authority and of Montrose Football Club.
