Biography
Mr. Atulya Risal is a Co-Founder and serves as Chief Operating Officer, Chief Technology Officer, Executive Vice President of Software Engineering and Board Member at ComplianceQuest. He oversees ComplianceQuest's technology and product innovation, software engineering, quality, product documentation, technical support and off-shore operations. Prior to joining CQ, he served as Executive Vice President of Research and Development and Chief Technology Officer of Pilgrim Software which he co-founded in 1993 and successfully exited in 2011. He was responsible for product and technology direction at Pilgrim Software. Working closely with product marketing, industry solutions, services and sales, he translated market trends, regulatory requirements and customer needs to viable business solutions that mitigated compliance risks and provides quick ROI for customers. He oversaw all aspects of research and development including software engineering, product management, knowledge management including Pilgrim Education Center (PEC) and technical support. He holds bachelor's in Electrical Engineering from California Institute of Technology and a Masters's in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University.
