Biography

Mr. Lars Urbansky serves as Chief Executive Officer & Board Member at Deutsche Wohnen. Previously, she served as Chief Operating Officer & Member of the Management Board at Deutsche Wohnen. As Chief Operating Officer, Lars Urbansky is responsible for Property Management, Rent Development and Customer Service. From 1996 to 2008, he worked for in Berlin. Towards the end of his time there, he was Head of Controlling. Since 2008, he has worked in senior positions for the Deutsche Wohnen Group. From 2008 to 2013, he was Head of Portfolio Management. Between 2009 and 2012, this position also included the areas of acquisitions and disposals. From 2014 until now, he has been a director of Deutsche Wohnen Immobilien Management GmbH and has had joint responsibility for the service network of the Deutsche Wohnen Group throughout Germany. This network covers the entire letting process and both commercial and technical estate management services. As of 1st April 2019, Lars Urbansky was appointed to the Board of Management of Deutsche Wohnen as Chief Operations Officer (COO) and therefore responsible for the operative business. As of 27st In July 2023, he was appointed as CEO of Deutsche Wohnen SE and has responsibility for the areas of property management, customer communication and strategy, HR, investment management, integration, and nursing and assisted living. On 1st October 2019, he was newly appointed to the board of management of GSW Immobilien AG as its CEO. Overall, Mr Urbansky has more than 20 years of management experience in the property sector.
