Biography

Mr. John Quinlan serves as Chief Financial Officer & Vice President of Operations, Strategy, and Corporate Development/M&A at Princeton Holdings (Canada). Mr. Quinlan served as Chairman of the Investment Committee at EWM Group. He is a senior-level executive with over 15 years of global experience in the family office, investment management, alternative investments, corporate strategy, and operations management. He has extensive experience in executive leadership roles leading single-family offices, both in Australia and globally. As Chief Investment Officer, he is accountable for the overall leadership, strategy, and management oversight of our Family Office Investment team. With a global investment mandate, he runs an active multi-asset strategy for families, allocating capital to top-performing global funds as well as best-in-class direct and co-investment opportunities in unlisted assets. Prior to joining EWM Group, he spent 3 years at one of Canada's largest single-family offices as Group Executive and Vice President leading corporate development/M&A and alternative investments focusing on sourcing, assessing, and executing direct and co-investment opportunities in private equity, venture capital, real estate, and private credit. He also has over 5 years of experience as Executive Director of Principal Investments at Salima Holdings, a single-family office based in Sydney. In that role, he was accountable for deal origination, capital deployment and allocation decisions, investment execution, and ongoing portfolio management. Prior to that role, he held senior positions with leading law firms in the Asia Pacific, focusing on mergers and acquisitions, equity capital market transactions (IPOs, take privates, and secondary capital raising), and acting for global private equity sponsors and hedge funds. He is a qualified lawyer and holds a Graduate Diploma of Applied Finance and Investment with a Corporate Finance/Advisory Specialisation from the Financial Services Institute of Australasia (FINSIA), a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from the College of Law, Juris Doctor (Honours) with a Corporate/Commercial Law specialization from Bond University and an Honours Bachelor of Arts, Legal Studies from the University of Waterloo (Canada).
