Biography

Mr. Robert O'Connor served as Managing Director & Senior Member of Investment Committee at Drum Capital Management. Mr. O'Connor assisted in the diligence, oversight, Fund Manager selection, direct investing and portfolio construction of Drum Capital's prior funds. Mr. O'Connor previously was a Partner at Protostar Partners, a middle market private equity firm with $300 million under management. While with Protostar, he invested in and managed numerous middle market companies across the consumer and industrial landscape. He previously served on the board of Constellation Enterprises, Jorgensen Forge Corporation, Columbus Castings Inc. and Zero Manufacturing Inc. Additionally, he worked with management to implement operational plans and restructurings for Protostar's investments. Prior to joining Protostar, he was the Chief Financial Officer of PresAir, a manufacturer of air, pressure and vacuum switches located in Westchester, NY and was Vice President of The Shattan Group, a merchant bank focused on investing in and advising lower middle market companies. He began his career with Prudential Securities. Mr. O'Connor received his Bachelor of Science from the McIntire School of Business at the University of Virginia and is a member of The Turnaround Management Association of America.
