Biography

Mr. Peter Zuckerman served as Managing Director & Co-Portfolio Manager at Contrarian Capital Management. Mr. Zuckerman joined Contrarian in 2017 and is a Co-Portfolio Manager for the Flagship strategy. At Contrarian, he analyzes U.S. distressed opportunities across industries. Additionally, he has played an active role in several ad hoc creditor groups. Prior to joining Contrarian, Mr. Zuckerman was an investment analyst at Grantham, Mayo, Van Otterloo & Co., where he also focused on U.S. distressed credit. From 2012 to early 2015, he practiced restructuring law at Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz. From 2007 to 2009, he was an interest rate derivatives trader at Deutsche Bank AG. Mr. Zuckerman received a J.D. magna cum laude from Harvard Law School, where he was a member of the Harvard Law Review, and an A.B. magna cum laude from Harvard College, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. He is also a CFA charterholder
