Biography

Mr. Bharath Srikrishnan serves as a Board Member of Electronic Merchant Systems. He is a Co-Founder and serves as a Managing Partner at BharCap Partners. He also serves as Chairman of the Audit Committee & Board Member at Sculptor Capital Management. He served as a Partner, Financial Services Investment Team, and Investment Committee Member at Pine Brook Partners. He also serves as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer at BharCap Acquisition. He joined Pine Brook in September 2015 and is a managing director on the financial services investment team. He is also a member of the Investment Committee. He has 15 years of experience in financial services investment and operating. Before joining Pine Brook, he was a managing director at Five Mile Capital Partners, where he was responsible for leading the firm's financial services investment activities. He previously served as a principal of Lee Equity Partners, where he focused on making financial services private equity investments. Additionally, he was a co-founder and managing director of NewStar Financial, Inc., a private equity-backed middle-market commercial finance company that successfully completed an initial public offering. He began his career as an analyst in the Financial Institutions Group of Salomon Smith Barney and as an associate with Capital Z Financial Services Partners. He graduated from Boston College with a B.S. degree in Finance, Operations, and Strategic Management (cum laude).
