Biography

Dr. David Mezzanotte serves as Operating Partner at SK Capital Partners. Dr. Mezzanotte also serves as a Board Member at GEON Performance Solutions and Ecopol. He served as a Board Member at Ipackchem Group. He joined SK Capital Partners as a Director in 2018 where he draws on his technical, general management, and private equity experience when working with portfolio companies to improve their commercial excellence. Before SK Capital, he served as Chairman and interim CEO at Coveris, a $3B global manufacturer of plastic packaging. Before Coveris, he spent eight years at Sun Capital Partners, where he served as a Managing Director with operating responsibility for more than two dozen portfolio companies during his tenure. He spent the first 20 years of his career as a technology leader at DuPont and AlliedSignal/Honeywell. After transitioning to general management, Dave rose to the Chief Executive position at CHEP, Int. He earned his Ph.D. in Metallurgical Engineering and Materials Science from the University of Notre Dame.
