Ms. Mary Nazzal-Batayneh is the Founder & serves as Chairperson at 17 Ventures. Ms. Nazzal-Batayneh served as Managing Director at Small Enterprise Assistance Funds. Prior to this Mary spent 15 years as a social entrepreneur and was chosen as 'Jordan's Top Businesswoman' in 2019. She was featured in Entrepreneur magazine in September 2021 following the launch of Landmark 2.0 an innovation and impact program embedded in her hotel, Landmark Hotel Jordan. She was featured as a Forbes cover story and chosen as one of Forbes' Most Powerful Arab Women for several years. Mary founded Landmark Hotels, a leading local hospitality company dedicated to social impact and the first local hospitality brand to expand outside of Jordan into Palestine. Mary is a Young Global Leader (alumni) with the World Economic Forum (WEF), a YPO member, a qualified Barrister with the Bar of England and Wales
