Biography

Mr. Tim Denning serves as Principal at Ultratech Capital Partners. He has also worked at Global Defense and National Security Systems Inc. He also worked at L-3 Communications as a Senior Director. t GDEF, working with Dale Davis, he led the Business Development function and oversaw all aspects of the organic growth strategy. He was also active in supporting Corporate Development and M&A activity. Prior to this role, he had held numerous positions at L-3 Communications, where he rose from analyst to become the youngest Senior Director in their $4.5B services group. In this capacity, he was part of the M&A team involved in nearly USD2bn worth of transactions. Now, with Ultratech Capital Partners, he leads deal origination and enhances the Business Development processes across the portfolio. He completed a Doctorate in Public Administration at West Chester University, PA, with a focus on technology and services acquisition within the US DoD. He also has an MBA in Finance, an MA in Contracts and Procurement Management from the University of Virginia, an MA in Political Science from Lehigh University, and a BA in Psychology from Johns Hopkins University. He holds a Commission in the US Naval Reserve and also serves on several Boards.
