Mr. Alex Ewig serves as Partner at Briarwood Partners. Mr. Ewig serves as Board Member at Martec Intl. Mr. Alex Ewig serves as Board Member at Contract Leasing. He is a high energy executive who realizes aggressive growth by establishing organizational strategy, articulating vision and mission, aligning and motivating organizations, and leading superior operational execution. Skilled builder of infrastructure comprising people, processes, and systems geared to achieve strategic goals and objectives. International experience in Fortune 500, small, and middle market companies. Mr. Ewig was formally the President and CEO of Martec International, an industry leading distributor of intermodal transportation parts. Under his leadership he successfully acquired competitors, was awarded a record breaking multimillion dollar (multiyear) contract from industry leader FedEx Freight, operationally built a team that established 7 distribution centers in the USA an d 4 in Central America and 50 distributors while also championing the global supply team with sourcing trips. Customer focused with a keen eye on problem solving, including customization and process enhancements, allowed Mr. Ewig to grow revenues 20x over 20 years before the eventual sale to a strategic partner. Mr. Ewig sits on the board of other logistic providers, leasing companies and maintenance solution companies as well as charity organizations.
