Biography

Mr. Dennis Nesta served as Chief Growth Officer at Rendr. He serves as Operating Partner at Kain Capital. He served as Chief Financial Officer at Excelsior Integrated Medical Group. He has nearly 20 years of diverse healthcare experience across health plans and providers. He has specialized in transforming organizations into value-based care. His relationship with Kain began when he was the CFO of Excelsior, a Kain portfolio company. After he helped to lead the merger of Excelsior and Rendr, he became the Chief Strategy Officer for Rendr, a medical group serving over 200K chinese patients in NYC. In his role at Rendr, he led the transition from fee-for-service to managing roughly $1bn in risk premium. He has held several local market and corporate leadership roles at Aetna and Cigna. Notably, he helped to structure and launch joint-venture products with health systems. He was also a Regional CFO for ChenMed where, among many things, he led the contracting and business development work with payers.
