Biography

Mr. Sean Klimczak serves as Global Head of Infrastructure and Senior Managing Director at Blackstone. He also serves as a Board Member at Cheniere Energy. Mr. Klimczak serves as a Board Member at Custom Truck One Source. Previously, he served as a Board Member at GridLiance. Since joining Blackstone in 2005, he has been involved in analyzing investments in various industries. Before joining Blackstone, he was an Associate at Madison Dearborn Partners, where he was involved with the analysis and execution of domestic and international private equity investments in a wide range of industries. Prior to that, he worked in the Mergers & Acquisitions department of Morgan Stanley & Company's Investment. Banking Division. He received a BBA in Finance and Business Economics from the University of Notre Dame, where he graduated summa cum laude and was elected to Beta Gamma Sigma. He also earned an MBA with High Distinction from the Harvard Business School, where he graduated as a Baker Scholar, a John L. Loeb Fellow, a Henry Ford II Scholar, and a William J. Carey Scholar. He serves on the Board of Directors of Transmission Developers, The Weather Channel, Sithe Global Power, and US Shipping Product Investor. He serves as President of the Board of Directors at Blackstone Charitable Foundation.
