Biography

Mr. Jared Parker serves as Managing Director and Co-Head of North America at Oaktree Capital Management. Mr. Parker joined Oaktree in 2014 from Highstar Capital with over ten years of experience in private equity, operational leadership, investment banking, and finance. Mr. Parker served as president of Ports America Stevedoring, the largest business unit inside Ports America from 2010 through 2013. He also served as a Board Member at Black Bear Midstream Holdings and Environmental 360 Solutions. He is on the boards of directors for ADS Waste Holdings, Inc. and Wespac Midstream. Previously he served on the boards of London City Airport and the Ports America Companies and as an observer on the boards of InterGen and Northern Star Generation. Prior to joining Highstar in 2005, he worked as an advisor to the Highstar Team on several transactions as an investment banker at Deutsche Bank. While at Deutsche Bank, Mr. Parker advised domestic and power generation companies and financial sponsors on mergers and acquisitions and financings. Mr. Parker holds a B.A. degree in international relations from Stanford University.
