Biography

Mr. Thomas Mead serves as Chief Financial Officer at Signal Capital Partners. Previously, he served as Partner, Chief Compliance Officer, and Chief Operating Officer at Engadine Partners. He joined Signal in December 2022. He oversees all aspects of the finance functions for the firm and funds. He started his career at Smith and Williamson where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant. He then spent 6 years at BlueBay Asset Management across various finance roles, latterly running finance and operations for the Direct Lending business. Before joining Signal, he spent 8 years at several hedge funds as CFO/COO. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. He holds a BEng in Chemical Engineering from the University of Birmingham.
