Biography

Mr. Luke Johnson joined The Brighton Pier Group PLC in June 2015 as Executive Chairman and has been involved in nightclub, bar, and restaurant businesses since the age of 18. He served as an Investment Committee Member at the British Design Fund. He co-owned and served as a board member at The Genuine Dining Co. He is a co-owner and chairman of GAIL's Artisan Bakery. He serves as Chairman at the Guitar, Amp & Keyboard Centre. He served as a Board Member at Zoggs International. He serves as a Board Member at Patisserie Valerie. He served as Chairman at Majestic Bingo. He was Chairman of Pizza Express Plc during the 1990s, co-founded the Strada restaurant chain, and was Chairman of Giraffe for nine years until it was sold to Tesco for £50 million in 2013. He also served on the Board of My Kinda Town and currently chairs Bread Limited, the artisan bakery chain Gail's and Patisserie Holdings Plc owner. He served as Chairman of Gaucho Group. He is a Co-Founder & serves as Partner at Risk Capital Partners.
