Biography

Mr. Stephen Rennie serves as Partner at Rhodes & Co. He graduated in 1982 and has been in practice ever since. He provides advice on most areas of the Firm's practice. He acts for a number of business, trustee and private clients and also serves as a director. He has appeared as counsel in over 40 reported cases in the High Court, Court of Appeal and Supreme Court. Since the Canterbury Earthquake Sequence, he has appeared as counsel in many earthquake related cases*. He has also served as a member of the Canterbury District Law Society Complaints Committee, Chairman of the Medbury School Trust Board and former member of the Drug Appeal Authority for New Zealand Cricket.
