Biography

Mr. David Cecere serves as a Partner at Tailwater Capital. He served as a Board Member at Nueces Midstream. He joined Tailwater at inception and is responsible for deal sourcing, transaction execution, and portfolio oversight. He currently serves as a Director of Petro Waste Environmental and TexStar Logistics. He has over ten years of experience advising and financing companies in the energy industry. Before joining Tailwater, he was an Associate with HM Capital where his primary responsibilities included evaluating, executing, and monitoring investments in the energy portfolio. He joined HM Capital from Merrill Lynch and Co., where he worked as an Analyst providing capital raising and M&A advisory services for midstream companies. At Merrill, he advised on M&A, equity, and debt financing transactions, primarily for master limited partnerships. He earned an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Texas at Austin with a BBA in Finance and a BA in Plan II Honors.
