Biography

Mr. Alexander Thorn serves as Principal, Private Equity at H.I.G. Capital. He is responsible for all aspects of the investment process including sourcing, transaction structuring, financing, and implementation of post-closing growth, operational, and add-on acquisition strategies. Mr. Thorn serves as a Board Member at Mobileum. Prior to joining H.I.G., he worked at Harvest Partners, a mid-market private equity firm, and at BHI Energy, where he led a variety of strategic initiatives. He began his career in M&A at Wells Fargo Securities. He earned his M.B.A. from the Wharton School and his undergraduate degree cum laude from Princeton University with a B.S.E. in Operations Research & Financial Engineering.
