He has amongst others extensive experience advising on the restructurings and recapitalizations of banks and shipping companies. Prior to joining White & Case Hamburg in 2000, Dr. Volker Land worked for several years in the Cologne, Frankfurt and Paris offices of another leading international law firm. In addition, he worked for several years at the Max-Planck-Institute in Hamburg.
