Biography

Mr. Brian Jeffords serves as Board Member & Advisory Council Member at Hedera. Mr. Jeffords is the senior director of Identity & Access Management for the Boeing Company. In this role he is responsible for strengthening enterprise access controls and improving credential management capabilities. He also leads the cryptographic controls organization (PKI) at Boeing. He has over 18 years of experience in Boeing Information Technology and previously led the Cyber Intelligence Tools organization where he was responsible for developing and deploying cyber threat detection tools to reduce the risk of cyber-attacks. Prior to that he was the Chief of Staff to the CIO. In this position he was responsible for the overall health of the IT organization specifically focusing on strategic planning and execution. He started working at Boeing in 2000 as a developer and has served in various roles throughout IT such as IT program manager for the business partner's organization to GS&S and the manager for various application development groups. He holds bachelors' degrees in organizational leadership and business administration from Illinois State University. He also holds a master's degree in business administration from Washington University in St. Louis.
