Biography

Mr. Kerim Muvdi is a Co-Founder and serves as General Partner at Biosis Ventures. Mr. Muvdi is a Co-Founder and Co-Owner and serves as Managing Director and Partner at The Raw Place. He worked with Abu Dhabi Investment Office (ADIO - Central government hub supporting investments in the UAE) and collaborated with KPMG, government officials, funds, and startups. Developed new perspectives and definitions for 'value' analyzing deals using qualitative success measures (not traditional $ ROI) IP transfer, high-skill job creation, foreign direct investment contribution, and social and environmental impact. He parlayed his experience at ADIO into founding Biosis Ventures. In 2017 he launched Easy Egg Factory LLC. His strength lay in contributing to his team's efforts by developing manufacturing facilities, leading business development, and co-managing financial and operational matters. In 2013, launched The Raw Place (a health and wellness platform) in an effort to provide accessible healthy food options to tackle chronic illnesses. In 2012, worked in post-merger acquisitions for Orbia (previously Mexichem), where he was praised by leadership for his work at three sites in the USA and UK, pinpointing operational savings and synergies. He was born in Colombia and grew up in the USA, and Switzerland where he attended boarding school - holds a B.Sc. in Corporate Finance & Accounting from Bentley University.
