Biography
Mr. Wassim Younan serves as Managing Director & Vice Chairman of International at HPS Investment Partners. He also serves as Board Member at Dubai Aerospace Enterprise. Prior to joining the firm in 2021, Mr. Younan held various roles at Goldman, Sachs & Co. over a 29-year tenure in London, Singapore, Hong Kong and Dubai. Until his retirement in April 2021, Mr. Younan served for 15 years as Chief Executive Officer of Goldman, Sachs & Co. for the Middle East and North Africa region. Prior to that, Mr. Younan was the head of Goldman Sachs' Fixed Income, Currency, & Commodities Division in the Asia Pacific (ex-Japan). Mr. Younan started his career at The First National Bank of Chicago and served in Chicago, Seoul and Dubai. Mr. Younan holds a BA in Business Administration from the American University of Beirut and an MBA from Loyola University of Chicago.
