Biography
Ms. Janis Acosta was a corporate Partner in the firm's Chicago office who advises clients on a variety of corporate matters, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Acosta served as vice president of global risk management and deputy general counsel for one of the world's largest automotive interior systems suppliers. She has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, commercial transactions, risk management, and international issues specifically related to Latin America matters. Ms. Acosta received a B.S. from Hillsdale College in 1992. She received a J.D. from Wayne State Law School in 1997.
