Biography
Mr. Darius Sepassi serves as Senior Managing Director, Private Equity Group at Blackstone. He served as Board Member at GridLiance Since joining Blackstone in 2016, he has been involved with the firm's investments in Cheniere Energy Partners, Ulterra Drilling Technologies, Onyx Renewables, and Transmission Developers, Inc. Prior to joining Blackstone, he was a Senior Vice President at Oaktree Capital where he evaluated and executed investment opportunities primarily in the power generation and midstream energy sectors. Prior to Oaktree, he was a Vice President at Highstar Capital. He has also held positions as an Associate at First Reserve Corporation, focusing on equity investments in the global energy sector, and as an Analyst, in the Leveraged Finance and Sponsor Coverage group at Bear, Stearns & Co. Inc. He received a BS, with distinction, in Accounting and an MS in Business Administration from the Pennsylvania State University. He serves as Board Member at Aypa Power, Star West Generation, GWF Energy, Ulterra, Onyx, and TDI-New England. He currently also serves as Board Observer at Linden Cogen.
